Pushing for NWP

How do we convince a “government” to put our beloved NWP back in their budget?  We have done it before, and can do it again.

In John Boehner’s office during a spring visit, the aide asked me to tell our teachers to stop faxing them because it was clogging up his machine.  YES!!!  I knew we were on the right track.

NWP has used its writing skills to champion our mission.  Keep writing and talking to your local legislators. Invite them to your sites. Eat lunch with them and remind them of the reasons to support NWP.

Point 1.  The NWP works. There are studies and research that show NWP’s successes.
Point 2.  NWP makes money.  Each site matches the federal funds and makes money for the federal government.

"No facts taught here are worth anything until students have assimilated them, correlated them, interpreted them. It is the student, not the bit of knowledge, that we are teaching."
