Power Unleashed
The National Writing Project enriched my life and my teaching. Now
every class I teach begins and ends with writing. It's how I find out
what's on my students' minds as well as what they didn't understand
and what kinds of connections they are making to the content. We talk
about its stress-relieving powers and revel in our writing marathon
time. They are better, I am better, WE are better because of writing.
My participation in the Southern Maine Writing Project unleashed that
power. Sarah Harrington
