The only regret I have concerning the NWP is that it took me 30 years to become part of it!  My fellowship year gave me a voice and research to back up my practices.  My passion for teaching continues to burn fiercely thanks to the support and encouragement of all those involved at NWP and my local site.  I believe all teachers early in their career should be exposed to NWP practices and a summer institute, for then we would truly have an amazing school system in the U.S.
