The National Writing Project is important for teachers and for students.  I am a better teacher of writing because of my involvement with the National Writing Project.  My students benefit because they see how much I value writing, and they value writing as well.

If students are writers, they are more likely to be better readers and better thinkers.  Writing opens so many doors for our students . . .

Please do not let the door close on the National Writing Project!
